2 States is inspired by the fiction written by Indian author, Chetan Bhagat by the same name. Siddharth Anand, who previously directed Salaam Namaste will be directing this movie. It is the story about a couple coming from two different states in India, who face hardships in convincing their parents for approval of their marriage.
